There is always time for a snack, clothing change or rest if your child needs it. The session is at the location of your choosing; your home, a nearby park or garden. Location suggestions are available if you would like them. The session fee includes locations throughout Chicagoland. Contact Erica to discuss rates for locations outside of the Chicagoland area. When in doubt, keep it simple. Simplicity will always add to the timelessness of a beautiful black and white portrait. You want to remember and capture your child's spirit, curiosity and joy, not their wardrobe. Bold prints and patterns are typically best avoided when possible. Bare feet are preferred when weather permits. If shoes are worn, again, simple is best. And for a baby, what could be better than their birthday suit? For outdoor sessions, please keep in mind that your child may get dirty. Children are much more relaxed when their parents are relaxed so try not to dress them in clothing you will worry about.
